Chief Keef arrested with cocaine in his car, facing life in prison

Chicago rapper Chief Keef has allegedly been arrested for drug possession sources tell us.

Law enforcement sources tell us Chief Keef was stopped by Chicago Police late Wednesday afternoon for failing to buckle up. But the arrest would of quickly turned into a drug bust after weed and cocaine were found in the Chicago rapper’s ride. In total, a kilo of coke and two pounds of weed were found in the trunk of the car. The estimated value of the drugs seized is estimated at a whooping $49,000 on the black market.

Chief Keef was hauled off to jail for the belt violation, and his currently being held on $100,000 bail for narcotic trafficking and possession.

This isn’t Chief Keef’s first arrest on a crime of this nature. Back in January 2011, he was apprehended on charges of heroin production and manufacture. If found guilty, the Chicago rapper faces a mandatory minimum 10 years of prison, punishable by up to life.
