Amid one of his many meet-and-welcome sessions at kids’ healing facilities the country over, John Cena made a humiliating faux pas by saying “You can’t see me” to a little visually impaired kid.
Cena waved his correct turn before his face, flashed a neighborly grin and said “You can’t see me” to 11-year-old Timothy Greene, who experiences a degenerative neurological issue that influences his optic nerves.
A clumsy quiet fell over the parlor in Manhattan Pediatric Hospital, where a few youngsters and their folks were assembled for the eagerly awaited gathering with Cena.
A WWE advertising partner at that point whispered to Cena that Timothy is legitimately visually impaired, which made Cena turn pale and stammer something about “hustle, reliability and regard.”
Timothy later said he wasn’t troubled by Cena’s remark, and demanded he found the entire thing sort of amusing.
“Cena sucks in any case,” he said. “I’m a CM Punk fan.”
