Previous NFL running back Lawrence Phillips is associated with murdering his cellmate in a Central California jail, it has risen.
Phillips, who was imprisoned in 2005, is serving a sentence of over 31 years for stifling his sweetheart in San Diego and driving his auto into three teenagers after a pickup football game in Los Angeles.
On Monday, jail authorities uncovered he is associated with killing Damion Soward, a 37-year-old prisoner from San Bernardino County serving 82 years to life for a first-degree kill conviction.
Soward was discovered inert on Saturday morning in the cell he imparted to Phillips, 39, at Kern Valley State Prison.
He was later articulated dead, jail representative Lt. Marshall Denning said in an announcement.
Phillips was once one of the country’s best school football players at Nebraska.
He played for the St. Louis Rams, until being discharged in 1997 for defiance. He likewise played for the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers.
